Code of Aid

for Special Schools

Since 2001, a web-based version of the Code of Aid for Special Schools has been put onto the Education Bureau (EDB) website with hyperlinks to relevant circulars / circular memoranda issued by the Bureau. Recently, with a view to enabling an easy access and a holistic presentation of the documents, the Code (Volume I) has been revised in the light of the arrangements promulgated in the standing circulars / circular memoranda issued up to the 2009/10 school year.

Administrative Guidelines on different themes are also uploaded.

The EDB is now in the process of revamping the present version of the Code with a view to streamlining relevant procedures under the Code and including relevant provisions stipulated in the Education (Amendment) Ordinance 2004 and Education Regulations.
