隨着教師專業發展已進入了一個新階段，香港教師中心作為教師專業發展平台的歷史使命也告一段落。香港教師中心於2021年9月1日起停止運作。而香港教師中心過去所累積的寶貴資源及優秀的教研成果（包括《香港教師中心學報》及《教育研究報告匯編》）已上載至教師及校長專業發展委員會網站內的T-瀏覽^24/7，供公眾瀏覽。

With the dawning of a new era in teachers’ professional development, the Hong Kong Teachers’ Centre (HKTC) has completed its historic mission as a professional development platform for teachers. The HKTC has ceased to operate effective from 1 September 2021. Those valuable resources as well as distinguished educational researches amassed by the HKTC, which include Hong Kong Teachers’ Centre Journal and Educational Research Award Scheme Reports Collections, have been uploaded onto T-surf^24/7at the Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals (COTAP) website for public access.
